Statement for the General Directorate of State Security
The General Directorate of State Security – department of Media, Orientation, and Public Relations issued the following statement:
The General Directorate of State Security arrested (W.A./Lebanese citizen) in the city of Tyre, for impersonating a tax collector.
(W.A.) confessed to the charge, noting that he has criminal records among them impersonating an intelligence agent.
Upon the reference of the Appeal Public Prosecution Office of the South, the General Directorate of State Security circulated the picture of the suspect, and called citizens and residents, victims of his fraud, to appeal to the Regional Directorate of the South - Tyre Regional Office, to deliver their statements or contact +961 07 741583 in order to take the necessary legal procedures.
