Arrest of lebanese drug dealer for trafficking a new narcotic substance

Based on information provided to the General Directorate of State Security about an unknown person trafficking a new narcotic substance known as GHP or G – a transparent liquid substance similar to water – a state security patrol managed to arrest the main dealer, (R.N./lebanese), in Achrafieh area, and seized a large quantity of the aforementioned substance in his possession.
During interrogation, he admitted to having imported the substance from abroad in large quantities through shipment companies as a substance used in the field of upholstery and equipment cleaning, then selling it to dealers in a number of Lebanese regions with an average of 50 ML every two days. The substance is administrated through small droppers used with any fluid drink and is sufficient to put its consumer in a state of unconsciousness for approximately three hours, leading to death in cases of overdose. 
The suspect and seizures were handed over to the ISF Drugs Repression Bureau upon its reference.
