Illegal pharmacy in the north of Lebanon

Due to directions of the Supreme Council of Defense to control illegal crossings and fight trafficking, and within its mandate to monitor health security, a patrol of State Security, along with a patrol of Pharmacist Inspection Service of the Ministry of Health – Health Service of the North, inspected health dispensary and an affiliated pharmacy in Al Amayer town in Wadi Khaled, belonging to (M.A.). It turned out that the pharmacy was illegal, and a number of prohibited drugs were seized, and two Syrian doctors were arrested for working illegally at the dispensary.
Upon the reference of the competent judiciary, the health dispensary and pharmacy were sealed with red wax, releasing the concerned individuals upon residence guarantee. The file was referred to the Office of Combating Financial Crimes.
